Heather Cameron
Heather is employed by the JDT although funded by the council as Administrator of the Service Point. The Service point is open from 10am to 1pm weekdays and provides a range of office services and wireless internet access.
Rob Darroch Rob is The Community Plan Co-ordinator. He works 17.5 hours per week funded by LEADER, Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) and Argyll & Bute Council. His role includes the project management of the Passenger Ferry Pilot Project as well as the production and implementation of the Community Plan. He also acts as a local contact for SNH helping to organise open days and recognise projects within the community plan relating to natural hertiage.
Fiona MacDonald
Fiona works part time as Account’s Clerk. Along with day to day accounting for the Trust she works with The JDT accountant to prepare the end of year accounts and all necessary returns.
Jane Carswell
Jane works in the second half of the week as the project officer for the Isle of Jura Oral History project, funded 47.5% by Argyll & the Islands’ LEADER, 47% by the Heritage Lottery Fund, and 5.5% by the JDT. Her job is to encourage participation from the community in recording their heritage, to administrate and facilitate interviews and transcription, and to pull together a full archive of recordings and souvenir CD & booklet.
