At Jura’s wild north end, the beautiful wooded Lussa glen leads to a glorious sandy beach at Inverlussa.
You can savour the view, enjoy the wildlife, make sand-castles and enjoy tea and cakes right on the beach.
From April to September most weekdays, 11 am – 4.30 pm, 10 am – 5.30 pm at weekends, you can order tea, fresh coffee, cold drinks and home-made cakes and biscuits by walkie-talkie. You will find a menu and a walkie-talkie on a table next to the Tea On The Beach sign at the beach. Simply radio through your order and your drinks and cakes will be delivered to you on a tray in about five minutes. If you are making a special journey, do phone ahead to check opening 01496 820053 (opening hours are flexible and sometimes subject to change at short notice).
